LAILÀ TERRA

Laila Terra is a visual artist with a master's degree from the University of São Paulo. Her artworks are held in collections across Brazil and worldwide, such as the collections of the World Bank in Washington D.C., USA, and MAM - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Over recent years, she has taken part in significant national and international exhibitions, including the 7th Mercosur Biennial in Brazil; 7th Graphic Art Biennial of Szeklerland, Covasna, Romania; Rumos Visual Arts 2008/2009, Brazil; World Bank Art Program "About Change," Washington D.C., USA; Paço das Artes exhibition program, Brazil; XV Call - Galeria Luis Adelantado, Spain, among others.

In 2013, she devoted herself to constructing a studio-house. The construction took three years and was carried out by the artist's own hands. Currently, she lives and works in the city of Ubatuba, São Paulo, Brazil. Starting in 2020, she co-founded the feminist group GOMA alongside other women artists and the feminist pseudonym “A”. In 2023, she published the game "CULTIVE" through the MeepleBr publishing house.
