Lailà Terra is a visual artist who graduated from São Paulo University. She has works in important collections in Brazil and the world, such as the collection of the World Bank in Washington D.C, the USA, and MAM - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In recent years she has participated in important national and international exhibitions, among them, 7 Mercosul Biennial, Brazil; Fifth Annual Exhibition Award: Architecture Collection, Paris, France; "Rumos" Visual Arts 2008/2009 - Trilhas do Desejo - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Carnavalesque - wrestling with a mirror image created by others, World Bank Art Program "About Change", Washington D.C, USA. In 2013 she dedicated herself to constructing an atelier house, based aesthetically on the architect Mies Van de Rohe. The construction took three years and was built by the artist's hands. Currently lives and works in the city of Ubatuba, São Paulo, Brazil, in her modernist studio house and is a master’s degree student at São Paulo University. In 2020 together with women artists founded the feminist group GOMA, In 2023 founded the feminist heteronym “A”.
